Case study · Jurors.com

A jury pool for
every county in America.

We built Jurors.com. Trial lawyers pick the county where a case will be tried, seat twelve jurors from its population, hand them the case and watch them deliberate. Every juror is their own AI. Every word they say is signed.

Inside a mock trial

Twelve jurors. Three rounds. A verdict on every claim.

Jurors' private first takes before deliberation: each juror's private thought, mood and stress level, with a Signed and verify mark under each one.
Real screens from Jurors.com. The case and the jurors are synthetic.

Built from the county up

They come from your county, not from a chatbot.

Every juror is built from the county’s Census estimates: age, education, the work people do, who owns and who rents. Their politics match how the county actually voted in 2024. Before they ever see a case, each one is interviewed about big companies, police and lawsuits, so they walk into the jury room with their attitudes already in place.

Inside every juror

A 13-layer mind. In every one of them.

  • Their own AI. Four signed agents each: who they are, a private inner voice, short-term memory and long-term memory. No two jurors share a prompt.
  • A 13-layer cognitive loop. Thirteen layers working together every time a juror thinks.
  • Living in their county. Every day brings their county’s real weather and local headlines. They think, sleep, dream and remember, and every morning their agents are signed again with what they now know.
  • Aware of the whole room. In deliberation each juror has the whole case, everything said so far and their own first take. They answer each other by name and change their minds. The case never becomes part of their life memory.

What we built

Everything a trial team wants from a jury, before trial.

Talk to any juror

Ask what you would ask in voir dire. See where they lean and what is on their mind today.

Bring the case file

Police reports, depositions, expert reports, even scans. The lawyer approves every page the jury hears.

Read their private thoughts

Before anyone speaks, each juror thinks it over. You see what they would never say out loud.

A verdict on every claim

Liability claim by claim, damages line by line, and a settlement range against the demand and the policy limit.

Count by count

For criminal trials: every element proved or not, lesser-included offenses, and who holds out. For the defense and for prosecutors.

10,000 juries

Every juror in the county pool hears the case and votes. 10,000 juries are seated from those votes, next to the jury that deliberated.

Anonymize first

Names, companies and numbers are replaced on the lawyer’s own computer before anything is sent. The key back stays with them.

A firm’s own jurors

Jurors fine-tuned on a firm’s own verdicts and focus groups, tested on past trials they never saw, and approved by an attorney with a hardware key before they go live.

Air-gapped if you want

Run it on our servers, a firm’s own server, or with no internet at all. Models and county pools arrive on a drive.

Every answer carries a receipt

Change one character, and it fails.

Each juror statement, private thought and vote comes with a receipt naming the exact model, its weights, the prompt and the output, by fingerprint. It is signed twice, once with a post-quantum signature, and anyone can check it in the browser.

We tested it: change a single character of a juror’s answer, and the receipt fails with “altered or forged”. Any answer can be run again and proven to match, word for word, and every step goes into a chained, tamper-evident log.

What the juror said
“Two-point-one seconds is nothing with that much weight. I operate a forklift, you gotta account for stopping distance.”

Under the hood

What it takes to run a country of jurors.

35,000 signed agents

About 8,700 jurors, four agents each, every one loaded, signed and served by Optima Prime. Re-signed every morning with what they now know.

Build your own juror

Match a juror questionnaire or a venire profile. Set age, work, money, views and life story, and they join the county pool as a full juror: interview, portrait, memories, voice and a life in the county.

Private by design

The case never goes to a public cloud AI. Lawyers can also anonymize a case on their own computer before anything is sent.

A smaller, sharper model

We tested nine open-weight models on the jurors’ real work. The one we picked was faster, and agreed more often with the votes real juries cast than the larger one it replaced.

Speculative decoding

A small draft model proposes the next few words and the main model checks them. Jurors write about 1.7 times faster, with identical output.

One fleet

Deliberation runs on the machine that reads prompts fastest; bulk votes and the daily simulations run on another. Adding a machine is one script and one line of configuration.

Why it matters

Most cases never get a mock jury. Now they can.

Legal, insurance, health, government

Running AI that has to be trusted?

Every answer with a signed receipt, on hardware you control, from one machine to a fleet.
